Wing Parish Council

Wing parish council meets monthly, on the last Tuesday of each month at 8pm in the village hall small hall (map). Members of the public are always welcome to attend meetings. The first 10-15 minutes of monthly meetings are allocated for members of the public to ask questions or raise matters with Wing Parish council.

What is involved?

• The position involves working from home for around 8-10 hours a week .
• A degree of flexibility and the ability to work under your own initiative is essential.
• You must be able to attend evening meetings and be prepared to undertake training courses as required.
• You should be computer literate and be confident in liaising with members of the public as well as professional bodies.
• Some basic book keeping skills and experience of budget preparation would be ideal although training can be given if needed.
• The position is varied and although you may be required to find out and source information on a variety of topics, there are also set deadlines and procedures which you will be required to follow and adhere to.
