Parish Council

Parish Council responsibilities include:

• Bus shelters
• Village halls, public buildings
• Footpaths
• Street lighting
• Provision of litter and dog waste bins
• Recreation facilities & play equipment
• Public seats & benches
• Traffic calming
• War memorials

The parish council must display for residents, any planning applications for the area.

The parish council can also spend a limited amount of money on anything they deem of benefit to the community that is not covered by the other specific responsibilities described in the list above.
