2011 Election of Parish Councillors for Wing

Notice is hereby given that:

  1. A poll for the election of Parish Councillors for Wing will be held on Thursday 5 May 2011 between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:00 pm.
  2. The number of Parish Councillors to be elected is eleven.
  3. The names and home addresses of the candidates remaining validly nominated for election are as follows:

      Parish Council Elections - Meet the candidates

      The parish council will be holding an informal ‘meet your parish council candidates’ session at their next meeting. It will be your chance to meet your current parish councillors and prospective new councillors before you vote on the 5th May.

      Tuesday 26th April, 2011. Wing village (small) hall , 8pm.

      Wing Parish Council Hold Precept at £40,000

      Wing Parish Council set their precept at £40,000 for the year 2009-10 at the parish council meeting on January 27th 2009. The precept has been kept at this figure for the last three years.

      AVDC have also decided on only a modest 2% increase in their precept figure, the lowest rise in 10 years.

      Bucks county council are due to announce the council tax rates for 2009-10 on the 25th February.
